This Mix is packed in a food grade tamper proof tub (300g) and only requires the addition of oil & water
This mix can be baked in a 1lb loaf tin or in a 7″ Round/Square tin. Baked in a small lined baking sheet/Tin this makes a beautifull squares iced with our cream cheese icing (5111),
Preheat oven to 140c
lightly grease a 1lb loaf tin or 7″ tin
Add 100ml oil +110ml Water into mixing Bowel fitted with a beater ( Teaspoon of treacle can be added at this stage if a darker cououf is prefered).
Empty the contents of the container to the liquid.
Mix for 2mins on slow speed, and a futher 2mins on med speed.
Empty into prepared tin and bake for appox 40-45 mins.
Tip– if baking in a 7″ tin and require a flat top for icing add a little more water, the softer the mix the flatter the top, if you feel the mix is to soft sieve in a spoonful of selfraising flour and fold in till cleared.
