Beautifully simple Choux Mix, just add water mix, pipe and bake .

 

 

Ingredients–Allergens in CAPITALS

WHEAT FLOUR, Dried WHOLE EGG, Rapeseed oil, Potato starch, Cornflour,Emulsifer E472c,Raising agents E450 & E500, Skimmed MILK Powder.

Place 500ml of cold water in a mixer bowl fitted with a beater, empty the contents of the tub on top off water, mix on slow speed for 1min, then 4mins on medium speed.

Preheat the oven to 200 C,

Using a large star tube in a piping bag, pipe desired shape onto lined baking sheets lined with parchment / greeseproof paper. {This will make 36 Profiterolls or less if piping Eclairs )

Place in pre heated oven REDUCE HEAT to 150 C and bake for 35 mins, remove from oven, allow to cool and place in bags or in air tight containers over night this allows the shells to soften.

We have a chocolate icing which can be heated (5112) to dip shells into.and a  orange filling (5108) which  swirled through Bakers Cream(5116), and piped into shells make a beautifull tea time treat.
